AMD Beach Recap - Rosemary Beach

Hello AMD friends! Adelaide is here to recap our eventful & relaxing beach trip.

Who doesn’t need a beach trip every once in while? Especially when your brand is made up of ocean references and wavy vibes. The best part about this beach trip is that Mary & Anna earned it! They both sold enough design work to earn a week at the beach. I was so proud of them for meeting their goals.

This was the perfect time to go to the beach for us because we were caught up on our projects and we needed a break after such a busy summer. Thankfully AMD’s clients and projects have only increased during COVID-19. We are continuing to remain a rock for our clients during these uncertain times.

ON to the trip…

Our trip began by meeting at The Summit so we could caravan down to 30-A together…and so I could give the girls their presents. (Yes this was basically a bachelorette trip).

Most of the care packages were graciously donated by BeMarlie Monogramming. They included a teal hat with AMD embroidering on the top, a “MAKE WAVES” teal one piece, teal heart shaped sunglasses, a wavy “make waves” tank top, and a white cover up. Perfect for repping the brand!

Once the gifts were given out, we were on our way to the beach.

Our first night we stayed in a gorgeous home near The Hub 30-A at Gracepoint Village. We could not get over how gorgeous the house was and how great the Air-BNB host was. If you are looking for a community with a beach club & pool as well as a large house for all of your friends and family, stay in this neighborhood.

The next day we moved to our beach front condo in Rosemary Beach. The condo was located at Seacrest Village and was absolutely perfect for 4 people! There were tons of families at Rosemary Beach, which was awesome.

Two Words: Hurricane Sally. While we braved the storm in our beachfront condo, we stayed completely safe and sound inside during the hurricane. Luckily, Rosemary Beach did not get hit as hard as the other locations like Pensacola Beach & Orange Beach. That night we enjoyed the most DELICIOUS meal at Pescado 30-A. This was our favorite night out, because it was just that delicious. Call ahead to make a reservation! The next day we got some serious work done while watching the hurricane hit. It was very windy, but not dangerous for us. We went to Shades for dinner and we recommend the volcano shrimp.

The next day was the most beautiful day after the storm! We got lots of content for our business & personal instagrams.

We rode our bikes to The Pearl Rosemary Beach and then we got coffee from Amavida Coffee. This area is so much fun to explore and check out all of the beautiful architecture.

For lunch we went to Raw & Juicy at Alys Beach! Alys Beach is just a short bike ride away from where we were staying. I got the lentil burger, kale salad, and sweet potato fries. It is so delicious and leaves you feeling full but not sluggish.

During the rest of the day, we relaxed on the beach and found seashells and listened to music. It was so relaxing.

For dinner we went to Bud & Alleys in Seaside Beach. Bud & Alleys is known for their signature crab cakes, so I obliged and got them. Also, I got the Frozen Peach Mojito. So yummy!

Seaside is very busy these days and has limited parking spots. If you are going to 30-A, if you want to be right in the middle of everything, stay in Seaside!

Dinner at Bud & Alleys was followed by a nightcap at The Havana Bar at The Pearl Hotel. I got the Frozé and it was so tasty.

The next day we woke up and packed up our things and then went down to the beach to say goodbye. It is ALWAYS the most beautiful day at the beach when you have to leave…but we were so thankful for the memories we made this week. We would not have it any other way.
