Urban Cookhouse is a family-owned restaurant rooted in community, fresh ingredients, and heartfelt hospitality. Founded by Homewood locals Andrea and David Snyder, Urban Cookhouse brings farm-to-table dining to life by sourcing produce from central and northern Alabama farms and cooking over an open flame on The Big Green Egg. With four locations across Birmingham, Homewood, The Summit, and Tuscaloosa—as well as a Tuscaloosa-based food truck—this local franchise offers made-from-scratch meals inspired by generations of family tradition. From signature wraps to Sherry Snyder’s famous brownies, every dish tells a story of local flavor and genuine connection.

Our team’s
AMD Creative serves as Urban Cookhouse’s ongoing design and marketing partner, providing full-service creative support on a monthly basis. Acting as their in-house team, we design print materials such as menus, promotional signage for all locations, and internal documents for both front and back of house. We also manage monthly website updates with custom banners to highlight new offerings, seasonal specials, and announcements. As a growing local franchise, Urban Cookhouse relies on us to maintain a cohesive and consistent brand presence across multiple locations and platforms. We’ve also developed branded documents and systems to support their franchise operations and expansion.
