Note To Business Owners: ✨Change Is A Good Thing ✨

What do you think of when you hear the word “change”? You might cringe at the thought, or maybe it excites you! Whatever your feelings are, change can be a powerful tool for your business to thrive – with it comes growth and improvement. When you’re confident enough in your brand to do what’s best for it, that’s when you’ll find success. Just a friendly remind for you business owners out there, it’s okay to:

Raise Your Prices 💸

Your pricing should reflect the skill level of your team. As you continue to improve your skills and work with a wide range of clientele, your rate should reflect your increase in experience, expertise and diversity of talent. Not only has your skill level increased, but so has your ability to decipher your clients’ ever changing needs.

Take Periodic Breaks 🧘

If you’re a business owner, you should take your mental health as seriously as you take your business. In order to provide your customers with your highest quality of work and customer service, you have to be functioning at your highest level. No one expects you to be perfect or to stress yourself out to the point of sickness. From taking small breaks like a walk after a stressful call to big breaks like a phone-free vacation and everything in between – taking necessary pauses are crucial for your health and your business’s health.

Let A Client Go 🚫

If you find that a current client’s vision is no longer aligning with yours, it might be time to part ways. Especially if there’s a lack of effective communication that prevents you from doing your job. With time, you'll discover which clients are for you and which ones would benefit from going a different direction. As the saying goes, you’re not for everyone and that’s okay! You want to focus on clients who love your services and are excited to work with you.

Update Your Services ✍️

Most industries are constantly changing. In order to compete in your market, it’s important for you to update your services as needed. Your services in year one should look a lot different than year seven as your business continues to grow its experience, skillsets and resources.

Lose Followers 👋

At the end of the day, you want followers who love to see your posts pop up on their feed or get excited whenever one of your newsletters hits their inbox. If you notice that you lost a few followers after you posted or someone unsubscribed from your newsletter – it’s okay. Think of it as an opportunity to see who is the right fit for you! The right audience will appreciate the content you share.

Rebrand 💫

Don’t be afraid to rebrand, if needed, as other aspects of your business change. You can still maintain brand recognition with similar colors and style, but adding a modern twist can reignite the spark in your business!
