Spring is in Full Swing at AMD! 🌸

Spring is officially here and we’re welcoming spring cleaning with open arms! You’re probably sorting through your home and closet, but have you spruced up your social media accounts yet? We’ve listed a variety of questions to ask yourself to stay up-to-date on your platforms so you feel more organized, refreshed and ready to take on this new season. Out with the old and in with the new!

INSTAGRAM

Are your highlight icon categories and covers relevant to your business?

Even your highlights are a reflection of your brand! Organize your highlights into concise categories and make sure your icons are consistent whether they are photos, graphics or colors.

Is the content under your highlights helpful and relevant to your ideal clientele?

Maybe you don’t offer a certain service anymore that is highlighted or you’ve added a new service to your business. Add new, relevant stories reflecting these changes to your highlights.

Is it time to update your profile icon?

Are you using the same profile icon from 5 years ago? It’s time for a current and fresh photo! If you are using an old logo, update it with your new one. This can help your audience find you better!

Is it time to update your bio?

Do you want to spruce up your bio with emojis or include a link to your website? Small, intentional changes to your bio can grab your audience's attention and lay out useful information the moment they find your page!

Do you have a bio-site made that can link to relevant links that pertain to your business?

If you want your audience to have access to more than just your website, swap out that link with a bio site, so they have all they need in just one click!

Are there any posts that are no longer relevant that you can archive?

Thankfully, nothing is permanent. If you have created a nice aesthetic to your page, but there are a few irrelevant posts that don’t vibe as much with your grid anymore, you can archive them!

Are you following accounts relevant to your brand?

Over time, who you follow will begin to accumulate. Make sure the accounts you follow are not only active, but also align with your brand’s vision, values and mission!

Are you up-to-date on Instagram's latest features?

Utilizing the latest features (adding music to static posts, collaborators to Reels, CTA buttons, etc.) can elevate your content, as well as promote partnerships and audience engagement!

FACEBOOK & LINKED IN

Are all of your friends and family following your Facebook account?

We love a good support system! Getting shares from those who you know is an easy way to bring more awareness to your brand.

Are your LinkedIn connections relevant to your brand?

Just like Instagram followings, make sure your connections align with your brand’s vision, values and mission. You never know where the right connection will take you!

Is your About section up-to-date?

What do you want your audience to know about your business from the moment they land on your page? Make sure you include relevant, up-to-date information! On LinkedIn, you can even let your audience know if you are a hybrid, on-site or remote work environment.

Are your LinkedIn Specialties up-to-date?

When you add more skills to your brand’s toolkit, remember to update them so your connections can see what your brand specializes in.

Are there Facebook community groups you could be joining to further your reach to your target audience?

Get your brand into the right audience’s hands by joining community groups similar to your business. Introduce yourself and your brand…you may meet your next client!

Is your profile icon up-to-date?

No fuzzy photos here! Update your old profile photo with a new and improved one. Let your audience see the current you.

Is it time to update your cover image?

Just as important as your profile icon, you can utilize this space to promote an event with a graphic or further your brand’s aesthetic with your brand color palette and logo!
