Trends To Lookout for in Summer 2022

Longer days and warmer weather are practically here! Each season brings new trends in design and fashion. We have scoured the internet and social media to compile a list of Summer 2022 trends. Here are the color, pattern, font, and fashion trends we think will dominate this summer. Try incorporating these into your designs!  

COLORS
The rumors are true! Bright, vibrant colors are in. We expect to see bright oranges and bold blues in the coming months. Emerald green is typically a fall color, but it has been growing in popularity and will be making an appearance this summer. So when in doubt, go bold and bright this summer!

PATTERNS 
Pattern trends can be tricky. Some stay for a while, and others come and go. Floral patterns and prints are back and better than ever! You cannot go wrong with a classic floral design. For a new, modern look try a gradient or color block design. These colorful designs are sure to be hot this summer!

FONTS
There are some fonts we think will be trending during these warm months. Retro style fonts are a crowd pleaser. Try using fun, eye-catching, retro fonts this summer! Stretched lettering fonts are also a great choice. And of course, tried and true clean, minimal fonts are sticking around for the summer!

FASHION
Last, but not least: fashion trends. Fashion trends seem to fluctuate even more than design trends. But these three fashion trends might just stay with us for the whole summer. This summer we are taking a trip to the ‘90s with new trends in jeans and dresses. Even though we fought it, low rise jeans are making a comeback. And get ready to spend your summer in satin. Satin dresses are a growing trend that we know we will see this summer. The ‘70s are not going to let the ‘90s have all the fun. ‘70s staple crochet tops, dresses, and sweaters are a must-have for this summer!
