The Summer We (Re)Turned to 30A
Physically, we’re in the office, but mentally, we’re back in 30A on our annual AMD beach trip! This is our busiest time of year, so we look forward to this week every summer when our job is “just beach.” Play “August” by Taylor Swift (our theme song for the week) and come along with us as we recap our trip!
OUR 2023 PARTNERS
Day One
On Monday morning, we packed our cars and hit the road. After four hours and a pit stop at Priester's Pecans, we arrived at our beach house. Thank you 360 Blue for making all of our OOO dreams come true! After reenergizing with Adelaide’s pasta recipe, we hit the town…and by town we mean The Big Chill’s stage to dance to iconic songs from our teen years.
Day Two
After a morning golf cart ride to Amavida Coffee Roasters, we set off to Watercolor Beach! Sunscreen was our bestie while we spent hours floating with the waves. That night, we experienced our first beach sunset of the trip and it was everything we could’ve asked for. We ended the night with some team bonding, eating pizza and presenting powerpoints. There were no rules, just vibes!
Day Three
Our morning began with a productive content shoot for our partners before the lazy river pool called our names. We ate a delicious dinner at The Red Bar, then walked to Grayton Beach for a 30A Blaze bonfire. This was our favorite night of the trip! We enjoyed s’mores, laid on the sand to watch the stars and there might've been a choreographed dance involved… We drove home with the Bronco’s roof open blaring our favorite songs – truly a main character moment.
Day Four
Our last day was dedicated to soaking up every last bit of sun! We completed the trip in the best way: piling seven girls into one bed to watch the latest episode of The Summer I Turned Pretty (more like The Summer We Turned Giddy)! Yes. Yes, we still think about THAT scene…iykyk.
We are incredibly grateful to have the opportunity each year to bond as a team and celebrate our hard work! We want to say thank you again to our partners and 360 Blue for providing us with our dream beach house for the week. Also, stay tuned for when our client beach content hits your feed. August slipped away, but we took the memories home with us!
