Why You Need To Plan A Team Photoshoot (Like, Yesterday)

We’re ready for our close-up 📷We recently planned a team photoshoot at Studio Lucid in Downtown Birmingham. We came ready with multiple outfits, props and a mood board of Instagram-worthy ideas! Air Seven Media joined us to film the day while we took turns taking group photos and individual headshots. Hundreds of photos and many laughs later, we couldn’t be happier with the results! If you’ve ever considered scheduling a team photoshoot, this is your sign to do it – here's why:

🤝 Introduce or reintroduce your team

A professional photoshoot allows you to introduce yourself to new clients and social followers and is also a great way for current clients and followers to better familiarize themselves with your team by putting a face to a name!

Your brand becomes more personable when people can see your team’s individual personalities and how you interact together, especially in a fun setting like a photoshoot. You may even gain new clients and followers with your welcoming online presence!

💻 Freshen up your social and website content

Are you running out of new content to post on your social pages? Are your team’s current headshots taken in different locations and from 3 years ago (...and maybe even blurry)? A professional photoshoot can save the day!

At our shoot, we captured so many photos, videos and b-roll for future posts, Reels and website revamps, including brand-approved headshots! Since we coordinated our outfits, our headshots show off each of our styles while sharing the same backdrop and color scheme. A professional photoshoot creates an opportunity to bring a cohesive aesthetic to your social pages, website and overall brand!

👯 Build comradery

One of the most important reasons to schedule a team photoshoot (like, yesterday) is for the bonding experience! We spent all day in the studio listening to music, shooting content and enjoying each other’s company. It was nice to take a break from work and hang out together in this setting, especially with several new girls on the team. We finished the day with as many memories as photos!
