Owned and published by Kali McNutt, Birmingham City Lifestyle Magazine is a community-focused publication that connects the residents to the people, places and things that make the city special. Through themed monthly issues, the magazine highlights downtown happenings, locally-owned businesses and inspirational residents. Their goal is to be a digital and printed guide for the community, inspiring readers to live a healthier and happier life in the place they call home.

Our team’s
Kali came to us for full-service social media management so she could focus on growing her business and increasing sales. Since the magazine releases themed monthly issues, we heavily played into this with the content we posted on LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. We created multiple giveaways – some paid, some organic – to quickly expand their reach.
The content we created fell into various pillars: Targeting business partnerships, targeting readers, spotlighting local events and highlighting stories from each month’s issue. We gathered the content by attending local events, working with local creatives and creating custom branded graphics.
