Mary Kalusche

🖥 Favorite projects:

✅ Ins:

  • The Paris Olympics created a lot of buzz around women athletes. I enjoyed watching the female climbers and following Ilona Maher on social media.

  • I’m setting aside more time to go for walks, learning about nature and taking time to disconnect. Activities like climbing, birding and camping are great ways to connect with a community that isn't online.

  • I love seeing people share easy and affordable DIY crafts. It’s fun to do with friends or as a way to reset and be creative.

🚫 Outs:

  • I’m seeing more and more bars offer fun mocktail menus as well as other fun NA drinks.

  • I’m seeing less staged and edited photos on people's and business‘s feeds. I like seeing unedited, more authentic content.

  • I’m trying to be more conscious of what I’m purchasing and asking myself questions like: Who is the company I’m making a purchase with and do I believe in their mission and business practices?

Adelaide Matte

🖥 Favorite project:

✅ Ins:

  • I love creating fun gifts for people from scratch. It’s so enjoyable to explore creativity across different mediums, and since I love gift-giving, this combines everything I’m passionate about.

  • I’m obsessed with the look of a fully monochromatic outfit. My current favorite color is burgundy, and it’s been my go-to for styling.

  • Why spend $300 on a top when you can browse Pinterest for inspiration, hit the thrift store, and sew the $300 outfit yourself? It’s fun, sustainable, and rewarding.

🚫 Outs:

  • I refuse to do anything that doesn’t feel right for me. This includes pleasing people simply to make them feel good at my own expense. It brings me nothing, so I’ve stopped.

  • TikTok Shop is out of control. This year, I’m embracing a more minimalistic approach to my purchases.

  • No more over-drinking or overeating. I’m setting healthier boundaries for myself.

Cody Garner-Howe

🖥 Favorite project:

  • AMD Social Media standard operating procedures (SOP)

✅ Ins:

  • Practicing more yoga, stretching & massage therapy

  • I’m just a girl that wants to see the world

  • Staying up-to-date on my local (Canadian/Torontonian) news and politics

🚫 Outs:

  • Creating and attending less plans that start after 8pm

  • I want to support more local restaurants and should get some steps in to while picking it up myself

  • I want to get better at identifying what are my "wants" vs. my "needs", and make sure that my lifestyle is more balanced

Bell Jackson

🖥 Favorite projects:

  • Dog U photoshoot

  • Kim's Kandles photoshoot

  • City Bowls December content

  • Hitting 1 million views on Happy Fish

✅ Ins:

  • Texting back, recycling, dressing for comfort, thrifting, reading the books in my personal library, baking, working out

  • Vision boards, Reel series, brands posting memes, quality over quantity posting, live streams, interactive websites, bold maximalism, nostalgic brand initiatives

🚫 Outs:

  • Taking forever to reply, skipping the gym, fast fashion, ill-fitting clothing, hopping on micro-trends

  • Doomscrolling, judging beginners, gatekeeping technique, generic brand voices, announcing social media breaks, catering to all audiences, quantity over quality posting, avoiding tough topics

Danielle Snuckel

🖥 Favorite projects:

  • Dog U website copy

  • Salley Rose tag line

✅ Ins:

  • I want to resonate and connect with songs on a deeper emotional level

  • I love this personal way to let the people I love know I’m thinking about them, plus I enjoy the delayed gratification

  • Making magazine collages is a slow-paced and fun way for me to reset creatively and express my feelings and imagination

  • I love the hunt of finding a book I’ve been wanting to read or a clothing item that’s a diamond in the rough

🚫 Outs:

  • I’ve been using red light on my phone all day

  • I love collecting and watching DVDs that I buy from thrift stores
